What is the most efficient use of your time for adsense revenue?

I've spent hours and hours promoting my sites, yet I am getting only a dollar or so a day.

What would you say is the most efficient way to spend your time to get adsense income? I'm tired of working for a dollar per hour

 

Its all traffic which will increase your income..no traffic no money

 

learning to use drupal cms along with seo modules has been best spent time for adsense revenue.

 

I'm not really all that familiar with drupal. What is the benefit of using over straight html?

As for SEO modules... are you referring to autogenerated content???

 

so you have find something to usefully spend hours on, learning how to use drupal to create your new sites from now on. About SEO modules (drupal modules) I'm talking about modules which add to the attractiveness of drupal for search engines, like the nodewords module, the pathauto, technorati, similar links, etc. You can find pages about drupal and seo in drupal.org

I don't want to bother giving a list of reasons (probably too long), but it's obvious to me that doing websites by hand with html is not for me anymore, learn about drupal and one day you'll give yourself the list.

Yep, Content....content..... and only content is the most important for getting traffic and retaining your visitor more time on your site and links plays an important role for getting traffic Once your site has a great traffic there are more chances for gaining high returns from adsense.

Think of something that's useful and has never been done before.

 

if you can make 1$ per day with one site , so do the same and make more websites ,

 

Content, content, content, promotion... more content. You should be spending most of your time creating fresh content, and a small fraction of your time promoting that content. Do this for a couple months and you'll find you can promote less and less because the traffic starts coming in on its own and doing the promotion for you.

 

I would suggest link building to some extent too. I guess it helps your site get noticed faster.

 

They aren't kidding when they say content. Providing valuable content to others is the ~MOST~ important thing. I've tried every marketing method in the book to try and promote my content. Well, it turns out that I spent a hell of a lot of time promoting crappy content. No one wanted to read that type of stuff. I made more in advertising revenue in one week writing good content than I did in one year marketing crappy content. Also consider writing content as producing income producing assets where as marketing is only providing a service. The content can produce income for you for years while the marketing you have to continually put effort into it.

 

Since no one has mentioned it yet, spend your time expanding your site. Okay, maybe a few people have mentioned it lol...CONTENT. Good CONTENT. Unique and Original CONTENT. You can do all the optimization you want but if your site is devoid of anything useful, it's all for naught. Post useful content and they will come.

 

i think earning from the adsense depents on two thinks.

your site category and the traffic that you get.

I my honest opinion it all depends where you are at. By the sounds of it your don't have a lot of natural traffic coming to your site so I'd imagine your main focus would be promotion at this stage (assuming you already have some good quality content on your site).

Once you get a certain amount of links and exposure and you are receiving natural and consistent amount of traffic coming to your site daily (1000+ uniques per day) then I'd argue that the main way you are going to increase your volume of traffic is going to be more centered around producing more quality content and you'd just let the quality content promote itself.
