Someone recommended www.clush.com directory in a different thread I never heard of it before but it looks pretty good and also good value...is there any reason why it never gets mentioned? Is it recommended? Cheers
Very recommended. Just take a look at it, its a great directory with a nice price too. Its built up a pretty strong reputation over the years.
Yeah, got a link with them. After 7 months: 0 traffic, link never indexed by both: google and yahoo. But: Periodical emails from stuff though never agreed. Don't know maybe just accident...
I have my sites listed there but now they are listed on pages with 100+ outgoing links making the listings useless for me. -Princy
It's an authority website, definately worth getting listed there.. maybe not for the traffic but for the link juice
Hello... I personally like it and think its a bargain plus its more then a directory as it offers Search as well as its own sponcer listing like google. type clush into you google box and this thread is already their.. thx malcolm
Thats the reason I'll list there once I finish developing my directory. its not the PR of the page, but the linksjuice from a Google recognized reputed site.
I've also thought about trying them, but I do not know anyone who would actually use them? Yes, the price is reasonable but most folks seem to search with google or yahoo. So, what is the benefit of listing with clush? Am I missing some SEO angle?
The directory has some decent PR (even on the sub pages), but it looks like many pages have a lot of external links which reduces the PR juice.
Yes...the principal reason for almost all directory submissions is the SEO benefit that a quality link provides. Even google approve of submissions to quality directories (ie directories that are selective about what sites they accept). Very few directories provide sufficient direct traffic to justify the cost of a listing (I would say none, but I'd get loads of responses telling me I'm wrong )
