New Google Ads ? Link unit with Ad unit !!

I just show following Google adsense ads on the top of DP forum'




Look those 4 links ( denver PR, Portland PR, B2B PR, etc) below the first ad.

Is it something new ?

Yes, It's a new ads style .

Oh, that's cool. But you can't really describe much with those little words..

 

I don't think the option is available for selection yet, but its randomly appearing.

 

yeah they are testing some of the new ad type. I saw other one with read more on it. you can also experience here

 

I didn't found it in my google adsense Ads setup.

 

uh not to state the obvious, but thast a screen shot of an ad here on digitalpoint..

I am not sure if they are link ads. Has google released mentioned anything about this in the adsense blog? If not, I don't think they are link units but part of the ad itself. They may increasee the CTR a bit.

 

it appears to be link units embedded into the ads.

which means that there will have to be two clicks on it before you get paid, which sucks.

i don't want that crap on my sites.

 

Then they should decrease the Adwords price if they are showing so many ads in such a small unit.

 

that's a good point... if you were paying for an adwords ad, would you want to be sharing your ad block with links to other ads?

 

Its just a new ad format being tested by Google..
It looks ugly in some cases..

i think that was just a bug.

 

I have them appear on my site... see attached.

If you click the sublinks the google ads change to comething on that subject. ie click the link says "green widgets" the ads change to ones about green widgets.

 

i don't think so.. it began to very popular around websites
