    PR carries lot of value to some niche while majority don't care about it.

    It all depends on the niche you are interested.

    I value PR, as it affect Serps as well cause you get high PR if got many backlinks and as your backlink increasing your Serp also affected.

    Valued also if you run a directory.
    Dont know any who said no value to pr will submit to PR0 directory for $2 but they will submit it $30 at PR6 or PR7 with PR5 pages ;)

    I think having high pr is a nice thing, but its more important to concentrate on having good ranking.
    Having high pr is good if you wanna sell links to other sites.
