We've Exchanged Over 500 Stumbles in the Past Week! - Review My System

    Hello,

Please review the Stumbleupon Exchange system I've programmed for suexchange.com. I believe the system to be one of the best so far. It is all custom coded and allows for maximum exposure and maximum stumbles.

You can use the demo login details if you'd like.

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated :)

Very nice idea, good way to get people to do stumble exchanges using a point system. The design is pretty simple but that is a good thing. The site loads fast and navigation is easy.

Thanks for your friendly comments :)

I just wanted to mention that we shared over 300 stumbles today! One of our members has claimed over 800 referrals from StumbleUpon because of posting his site on suexchange.

Try us out. You won't regret it! :)

That is great to hear! :)

I've got a lot of features I'll be adding soon. There are modifications to be made and updates. I'll keep everyone updated :)

We haven't celebrated our 100th user yet, but the referrer for the 100th user will be receiving 100 Points! :)

Here are some new stats from StumbleUpon. These are referrers this month for a bunch of web sites I've listed on SUExchange.

    RF: 3,183
    ER: 2,086
    TF: 1,580
    MG: 691
    FL: 363
    HMS: 309
    EI: 296
    MLT: 289
    FR: 180
    RGFP: 71
    ES: 7

Those who know me probably know those site codes. Those who don't can guess. :D

That's great to see Will. May I mention that Will purchased 100 Points for $15, which as you can tell, was well worth the little investment :p :)

I have signed up for your site and used it. It looks like a great system, however I have a few questions:

    1) How can I buy hundred points?

    2) How do points work? It looks like I get my points back when I confirm that someone has stumbled my site. Isn't there a huge inflation of points? I could just confirm that other people stumbled my site without stumbling myself... ?

    3) Isn't it suspicious if members stumble a lot of sites in a short time frame? (I login, stumble 10 sites in 5 minutes and logout)

    4) Isn't it suspicious if sites get stumbled in a short timeframe? (until the account with the points is empty and I login to confirm all stumbles and get my points back)

It would be great if you would post a tutorial on how to best utilize your site. I am sure there are some tricks to it.

But even without a more detailed tutorial I will continue to use it.

    Matthias

PS: Small improvement idea: "Mark all messages as read". Since it is possible to see all users that need points for stumbling my site form the site's page, the email is a little bit annoying.

You can purchase Points by sending me a PM and requesting :)
Right now Points are on the rise. I have thought of a few ways of fixing this and will make updates soon :)
A lot of people do stumble exchanges for hours here on DP. So far, from what I can tell, SU doesn't seem to mind or they can't control it.

I appreciate your input Matthias. I look forward to seeing you around the site. It's growing very rapidly. Check out the graph!

    12,551 on Alexa yesterday :)

I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and am impressed with the results. In exchange for a few minutes of my time stumbling others sites (of which there are plenty to choose), I'm getting some nice traffic boosts. I'll definitely continue to use this nice exchange system.

Doesn't that one limit you to only promoting one URL at a time?

With their architecture, you put your "site" in your "UserCP" and it's added to their system.

The problem with that is that it limits you to promoting one page at a time. I have over a hundred sites and tens of thousands of pages.

Also, doesn't that site pressure you to Stumble all sites that Stumble yours? I'm not very fond of that, because there are some pages which I would just rather not Stumble. Any StumbleExchange should give me that freedom. I like to only Stumble good pages.

I can't tell for certain on either point right now, as their site is not responding. I'll check again later.
