Domain name is important to certain extent for keyword ranking. Does anybody have some experience how to utilize this better.

you sort of answered your own question in your post.

i have the opinion that the url is of great importance in googles ranking algo.

i have had a site rank for a keyword with nothing more than a placeholder page and its title.

    no other work at all.

google gives the webpage title and the url a lot more weight then some people realise.

    Hello...

I believe the URL carries some "heavier weight" in search results depending on the "number" of query results that specific term deems...
"Titles and Descriptions" are equally as important as your describing your site to not only viewers but also the SEs.
Utilizing these 3 as well as the keywords can and will make or brake any top 10 results in most search engines.;)

    thx

Well it wouldnt be very "brandable" or "desirable" would it now?

Why not use other words associated with the domains name/meaning?
If a major word is taken and No domains ext desirable or available
then use domain name relevance to get natural search queries specific
    to your domain needs... :)

    thx

No, "reverse" URLs as you describe are of absolutely no help to you.
