I am trying to upload a 150 meg file to one of my servers and it keeps on timing out...Can anybody recommend a software or solution to fix this so it I do loose the connection I can resume uploading again?

Right now I am using WS FTP Pro

You might try CuteFTP, it has good resume capability i guess, so if you connection is borken then you can get it back by resuming. And. .as for the best FTP program that I know is FlashFXP.. no software couldn't bit it infront of me.

FlashFXP is good for uploading less but huge file . CuteFTP is recommended for it's great speed when uploading a lot of file ( it upload several files together)

I am testing SmartFTP, FileZilla, and FlashFXP.

I am uploading a 400MB file, FileZilla disconnected at 300MB, now using SmartFTP still going now around 300MB.

My experience with FlashFXP has been good.

I have used CuteFTP with good results, but broken uploads/downloads can be a real pain, especially when I have to start from the beginning.
