Smart-Pricing claims yet another victim ! I've gone thru months of low ePC.. but for the last month or two my ePC has been thru the roof on most pages.. For the last month my traffic has been way down, but earnings are the same or better.. Hang in there, try less ads per page, remove poorly performing ads, and hope for the best.
I'm getting them throughout the day. I wake up to about 70 clicks (8am ET) so go figure. I'm not home to track it throughout the day, but at the end of the day thats what I see. All the hard work. I don't have any idea how to increase the cpm... I mean if I got 5c/click I'd be god. some people get like 25c/c. 5*250=12.50/day. I'd be happy with that. Do you guys think I should switch some of my sites? How the hell do i Get YPN?
If you have 3 ads on every page, try removing two and leaving only one. If you have any pages that get lots of impressions but no clicks (or very few), remove the ads from that page.. This might help un-smartprice you.. this is what I did a few months back and it's seemed to help. As for YPN, forget it.. They are a joke.. Try Kontera instead.
The problem is that my sites are music related and google is awsome at putting .005cent keywords (sad). Is there any other cpc program that doesn't rely on keywords as much?
Forums pay pretty good. Well the other one i had paid like 25-50c/c. and to the other guy, yes I get money but it sucks when I can make twice, or three times the amount. Getting 10cents a click will get be 25dollars/day. thats 750 a month compared to my crappy 200a month.
CPC is down for all publishers, click fraud is the cause, it increased a lot since last year. I have the same issue and started recruiting private advertisers who pay me three times more than AdSense does.
Whatever you discuss and throw unless google revamp it in the public interest the ones who are enjoyed to it continued to do so and those who are not, do questioning in search of near answers.
You might be "foreign" but what you said made perfect sense to me...ajaravis, on the other hand, well, it's not just you having trouble understanding him. He's using the Swahili to English translator correctly...unfortunately, I think he's inputting his sentences in Hungarian. As to your click problem, or rather your earnings problem, I would do as Terabite suggests and check to see if you might be getting some Arbitrage sites advertising on your pages. You can usually tell by visiting a few of the advertisers (use the preview tool or type the url manually, don't click the ads) and see if the resulting pages are full of ads or are directory listings. Filter the sites that are. Adsblacklist.com is another option.
The only thing i would do i make more sites. I made an sms site yestreday and within two hours it earned $8!!. and the eCPM was $34. So make new sites with new content and ideas
