    I've not done any real SEO work at all for my site - I need to start doing this ASAP as need more targeted traffic.

    Specifically; I need THIS PAGE to rank high for keywords 'hiphop videos' - - What's the best way to start - I've no experience in this field so some basic pointers would be greatly appreciated...

    Website promotion requires extensive keyword research, which will enable you to determine the best words or phrases to utilize within your content.

    Get you keywords visible in your on page content, meta title and description tags too. They all count :)

    BTW your website design is fab, well done.

    you must start getting backlinks with "hiphop videos" keywords.

    i also suggest you to make keyword density %2 for "hiphop videos" on your pages

    Well the only thing you should do is get targeted traffic and work on content don't just buy traffic, work on content and get links on relevant sites with that keyword "hiphop videos" and keep at it, the serps on that kw are really really crowded it'll take quite some work to get it anywhere near the top100.

    He means that you should use that keyword "hiphop videos" more on pages then you are atm, right now you are hardly using that keyword anywhere on your site.

    You can also check Google adwords to see the search popularity of the terms..Google just give basic idea about t he terms ..not numbers...

    After this, optimize your pages by analyzing your top ranking competitors .........
