Hi All, I know the Adwords FAQ states that you have to re-create your account if you wish to switch from pre-pay mode to post-pay, however I spent about an hour on the phone to Google Adwords Australia and I managed to get my changed. So don't listen to that part of the FAQ. Just be diplomatic on the phone and they will change it for you Regards
Yea, there are a lot of things that can be done if you just call your rep and ask nicely. Why would you want to open a new account, loose all your historical data? Thanks for the update selltrib.
mmm but can you tell more about the conditions? I'm not sure it's "standard" switching from prepay to postpay. Don't you talk about "monthly invoicing" that is available for all countries except accounts billing-based in the USA : https://adwords.google.com/support/...=facturation+mensuelle&topic=&type=f&onClick= If not maybe they manage to transfer your historical performance to this new account. Hi Michael, Well pretty sure it's still the same account. Same client ID anyway. I just had to explain to them that I started this account only a month ago and was trying it out to see how it all worked and if in fact I could make money online. Now I realized I could and being on pre-pay mode limits m y ability to grow as a business so they changed it for me on the spot. They did bounce me around to a few people.
