Yes, but you still are a crazy bastard if you prefer to die in such a way. For what, actually ? To know you are going to die in about 1-2 minutes of unimaginable agony ? You'll still die if you get a bullet to your brain, ya know.
The end result is the same.

I ain't afraid of dying either, but the thought of torture before death is indeed abit scary.

dying by someone slicing your throat with a blunt knife is way more dangerous than a bullet in head or heart.

I'm not saying that it isn't scary, but I'm willing to sacrifice the minute or two of pain for the privilege of preparing for my death. Hard to explain, just a personal preference. I truly hope that I'm never, ever forced to make it.

I hate to say it, But america is a bit smarter than that (not by much though).
America wouldn't try to take over the world all at once by force and by just bombing random places. America are doing it one by one and by creating reasons that, To the average cretin, Appear to be valid reasons for war. The reason may be a pre-emptive strike, Retaliation for a previous attack, Disarmament or to overthrow an evil dictator, Sometimes, Like Iraq, They use all of the excuses at once and people still fall for it.

Then it's easy to garner support for these deceptive wars simply by convincing people that if they don't go to war they are in grave danger from the bad men on the other side of the planet, Then they denounce pacifists and critics of the war as unpatriotic (which goes down well in america). Once you have the ignorant majority fooled and on your side it's pretty easy to do whatever you want. It becomes easy to say torture and sexual abuse are valid ways of extracting information from prisoners who don't get a trial and it becomes easy to take rights away from average citizens under the guise of "protecting" the same freedoms which are being removed.

If you just assume that americas goal is world domination it goes some way to explaining why america have been constantly at war since the 1950's. For over half a century, Non stop, america has been involved in a conflict with someone or something somewhere on the planet.
