    Hi,

Does anybody know of any courses one could attend to learn CSS for the purpose of making templates for content management systems?

    Many thanks

Doubt they have courses like that (esp. in Europe) nowadays... Pickup one of Dan Cederholm's books (Bulletproof Web Design / Web Standards Solutions), Simon Collisons's Beginning CSS or Ian LLoyd's "Build your own website the right way".

Save a bit of money and just browse the web for some tutorials. Then practise practise practise. Once you get going it will not take long to learn.

Hey, those are not beginners book.

I've always loved 'CSS Mastery'. www.cssmastery.com

There are very few courses in the UK for web design, never mind just css.

Theres one in Scotland (which i'm currently attending). I know theres a few at universities in England (Lester I think does a decent one)

    Are you joking?

You're saying Andy Budd's book that has errors every 3-4 pages and is to "master" css is a beginners book compared to "Beginning CSS" ?

Simon Collison's book is far, far better and more newb friendly... but then again I did read CSS Mastery and that was out at least a year before Collison released his.

CSS Mastery was the best book of its type, until Collison's came out, I suggest the OP gets Collisons.
