not very impressive..100 articles a day@ $66 a day..I have friends who clean toilets who make more than that...You could write those articles for OTHERS in the services section here at dp and only charge $2 each (well below market price) and make $200....sometimes people dont do the math...

interesting .. but rather then writing 100 articles a day.. i would rather write one article for each blog, with a better content and as original as it can be! 100 articles a day it's huge! I also have a blog and i am writing only 1-2 articles a day and my income is around 200$ a month/per 50 articles a month - ! so I think you should concentrate on the quality of the content and not the number of articles you write!

Rock on man! I love blogs!

    Keep up the good work..

I'm sure you're not writing all of them..

Outsourcing is the key to consistent content..

That's awesome. I'm thinking of doing something like that. But rarely imagine myself sitting in front of computer for whole day.

Hundred articles a day is not so difficult, and as he said he spend 10+ hours.

And he also mentioned that he posts articles from news sites and the like.

That is what most filter blogs or commentary blogs do.

Blogs are a different thing altogether.
he is not talking about the typical webmaster SEOed articles, but commentary on news. That is what many Top bloggers do. The better and wittier the commentary, the more popular.. The content is the Post Title :)

I don't write 100, but I manage to post about 20 similar articles each morning after Gym and before office :) and some before sleep.

Been doing that for 3 years now.

I am sorta with you on this one. 8-10 hours per day for on $66. This seems like a lot of work for little return. In addtion to writing all these articles the author has to harvest email addresses, write the direct emails, manage all the CPA accounts, actively sell text links, manage adsense, keep books(financial records) on all this stuff.

its not about making money in the first place so it should not be compared to a toilet cleaner.

    You obviously missed Brian's point....

If you're making far less money for the effort of something like a minimum wage job, it's nothing to brag about. If someone were making that much while only blogging for an hour a day, it would be an entirely different story, and a much better income (compared to the time commitment and effort put in). Every business owner (bloggers included) needs to worry about getting the best ROI. $2000 per month isn't hard, even with one blog and far fewer hours (I do it, and that's with minimal marketing and not even posting every day). It just takes a bit of time (in my case about 8 months... even with the OP's scenario it took him a year). Patience is definitely a factor separating fly-by-night bloggers from those with more serious earning potential.

As for whether the OP should have sold the articles to make more instead, I disagree with that. Long-term passive income is always better than a one-time payment in my eyes. With that business model, you always have to keep writing to bring in more income. With blogging, quality posts written once can keep earning forever. The best business people don't lose sight of the long-term with it comes to the financials... they also don't spread their time too thin (something I'm personally still a bit guilty of at the moment).

IMHO, this isn't a good deal.

As the OP stated above, he is actively spending 8-10 hours a day writing these articles and he is making $2000 a month, so, doing basic math.

Lets say he does 9 hours a day (between 8-10).

    9 hours x 30 days = 270 hours a month

    $2000 / 270 hours = $7.4/hour

Even considering that I can make more at my local mcdonalds, he still has to pay his hosting costs, and his other expenses.

This is not a rant, I just think that if you hired some SEO services for maybe 1 month's worth of income, you could easily be making double or triple this for the amount of time you spend updating your blog.

    Just my 2 cents.
