My site was ranked number 1 for a certain search term for about 4 months and now half way through the day im not on the first 5 pages. What happend and why was i moved but the number 2 search stayed? Will i come back to the top or what will happen?

Well, theres not much new content on your site is there? Nothing to add daily. Cant stay on top forever, more relevant sites will take your place.
just google playing with us one of my sites went from No.1 to outside the top 100 but this has happened before and usually returns after a few days or so
I confirm that this can happen for a few days and after that you might return to "normal". I think that's what happend to you because it's hard to believe you that the competition kicked you from number 1 to number 100 all of sudden.
One of my sites disappeared today too, but from all serps including international, I see my site on ~700 position now for my main keywords and it was number 6 yesterday. Well I think it will come back.
Same here, a website ranks very well for 2 terms and it is out the top 100 today, but I am not worried since that happened twice in the last 5 months .. Google should fix this issue if it is a glitch .. some times I think this follows aggressive link building campaign
Maybe this is google working on things. They don't exactly announce to the world when they are making changes. Could be making minor tweaks that temporary effect the index.
Mine is buried too. First for one keyphrase 3 days ago and now it's buried on a second keyphrase since yesterday.
Same happend to mine two sub domain sites, main site is still existing and apearing/ receiving traffic from google, but two sub domains which were almonst fully indexed and receving nice traffic till half today, then sudenly disapread from search results, and even not showing main pages. I am unable to understand that wats hapened. Can anyone tell me in detail.
This might very likely be because of loss of a very important backlink (with a high PR), or competitors doing much more better SEO than you are on these specific keywords.

Happened to me twice, around PR updates. Last week my site completely vanished for 4-5 days, then came back and I noticed a 10% traffic increase since.
