Average revenue?

I have read that people are making livings off of affiliate programs. I am not sure which ones are more profitable. Some will not even let you join them unless you have a highly trafficked site. How would you get a brand new site with no history launched into these programs? If you could pick "JUST" 3 of your all-time most lucrative affiliate programs, what would they be? And, what is the average monthly revenue for them?

    1) ?
    2) ?
    3) ?

I doubt anyone is gonna to tell you their best current 3. Dating is always a safe bet, loans generally do well too. If you're with Azoogle, COPEAC or one of the other networks (not CJ), just ask your affiliate manager what's hot and how it's being promoted.

Another thing, people are making 10s of thousands from almost every program you find on a network, so if I said I'm making only $50/month from ringtones, why would you even care?? The guy next to me could be making $5000/day from them. It's not about the program, it's about how well you promote.

Are you looking for best merchants/offers or general aff networks
I had no luck promoting Azoogle offers, it seems I can generate more sales than leads. Generally high % of my income is with CJ but this month Shareasale and Joebucks seem doing very well for me.

I think Azoogle is by far the best for me. CJ is too slow and getting unpopular by the minute.

There are lots of good programs. Just because someone is making a living of one program doesn't mean that when you join it you will also start making a living. It's not just something that the person had started making a living from as soon as he/she joined. It has taken them probably a good few years of online marketing knowledge before they could start making money from affiliate programs.

    Hope you do well anyway.

I agree with John, some will make a living from a program and other will not. Learn as much as you can about marketing. Get to events, mix with like minded people.

Set yourself up to suceed. If the program work make sure you work it. It took me about 18mts to started making a good amount of money. and I am still learning.

keep in mind for instance to be in top 20 on azoogle on average you have to bring in 100 to 150K a month.... and the key is not what has only worked for others but what will work for you. on some niches or programs i failed greatly at but others are making a KILLING. but there are some i kill at and they can't make a dine so don't limit yourself to just what others are doing.
