Switched from pre-pay to post-pay

    Hi All,

    I know the Adwords FAQ states that you have to re-create your account if you wish to switch from pre-pay mode to post-pay, however I spent about an hour on the phone to Google Adwords Australia and I managed to get my changed. So don't listen to that part of the FAQ. Just be diplomatic on the phone and they will change it for you

    Yea, there are a lot of things that can be done if you just call your rep and ask nicely. Why would you want to open a new account, loose all your historical data?

    Hi Michael, Well pretty sure it's still the same account. Same client ID anyway. I just had to explain to them that I started this account only a month ago and was trying it out to see how it all worked and if in fact I could make money online. Now I realized I could and being on pre-pay mode limits m y ability to grow as a business so they changed it for me on the spot. They did bounce me around to a few people.
