I think for the content, the colors are good, it makes me think lizard. As for what I'd do, I think just adding padding on the left of the text in your navigation as well as the body text would add some nice white space and make it a little easier on the eyes.

    Two suggestions:

-I'd dress up the sidebar. It's just a green rectangle -- very unappealing.

-Keep your article centered on the page. It aligns itself under the sidebar when the post text goes below the sidebar.

Thanks for the info, what code will move out the text from the left sidebar?

Weird colors. Try to make every flow together and change the header to something simpler. Also, if you want green make it less bright.

try some colour schemeing tools, they can be handy.

I like to sketch my designs first i can mix the colours better together.

Honest opinion, it's not very nice.

I'd go for darker shades, and make sure the whole page is colour, so not alot of spare white areas where nothing is.

I'd use more green, less yellow and light brown. Green and dark brown make people think "earthy," while yellow and light brown made me think "dirty."

Background color is not matching with the background color of Menu Section. Moreover on hover effect of menu should be contrast (Not Orange)
