    Hello,

I have invested some money in developing a few directories. I want to ensure I launch them correctly. I need advice regarding plugins to install, features to offer and how to promote the directories. I want to make sure I does this the optimal way. I am willing to pay for this consultation.

Please PM me if interested. I am really hoping I can find someone knowledgeable to help me out.

Do yourself a favour and sign up at half a dozen different forums, ask questions and expect to get conflicting answers.

There are a lot of guys willing to help you with informations here...don't have to pay. That's why a forum is - to discuss on various things and supposely to help each other. Also there are a few "gurus" ready to rip you off - sadly-
So...no need to hire anyone...just post your questions here :)

I would just like to talk with someone in realtime. I don't want to sift through the postings on here. I want to ask a question and get an answer.

    Billy,

The problem is that most of the people who are capable of helping you that way, are all too darn busy to do it.

Dont. Whatever you do, you are going to make mistakes and it looks as if you tend to head straight for the deep end. Eveyones got different ideas, different input and you need that experience to make up your own mind. Sew your pockets up tight otherwise you wont stay the course.

yup basically everyone said it here ... don't hire anybody as there will be many who will rip you, and the ones who are truly capable to help you will either respond to your questions here or won't because they are busy.

basically post your questions here ... if you have something which you can't find an answer too .. PM me, or use my contacts yahoo, msn, aim

i will try to respond to you promptly.

here is a surveyed list amongst the directory niche's overall view of people and their level of trust and integrity: trusted. The top 10 is a pretty good foundation except for only one of them who has done some QBCing on one or even two occasions.

Other than that, good guys for reference.

There you go-- I think you already have good advice to follow. If you're really want to learn you must spend good amount of time here and other places.

I guess your trying to learn in

    1. Theory - about the directory business

But don't want to go through the

    2. Practice

As you said you dont want to read a lot posts which I thing is be a big benefit. You know money can't help you with 2 we all have to go through that one if we want to be successful.

Anyway you already have some good solid advice to follow. Good luck!
