I own a free SMS text site. I havent really pushed any advertisement. Only for a review or two. I have had it for more than 7 or 8 months now. And I maintain it every 5 - 7 days. I really use it for my personal use to text others.

I didnt undo my webmail attached to the website. Everytime when someone texts, it pings my webmail. I do this due to the fact I like to save certain texts that I have sent out to remember what was said. Any #'s or emails/msg's I do not recognize I delete from my webmail. Really there was only a hand few every two weeks or so that were not mine. Like maybe 3 or 4 every 14 days. Thats how I really have not pushed the site for traffic etc.

But somehow in the last 10 days. I have had 4600+ spammed messages. The kind of spammed messages one would get in blog comments. Name it, I got it. From porn sites to pharmaceuticals. I got all of these in my squirrel mail.

GEEEEEZZZZZ spammer people, how dumb can you get. Where do you think I would put your spammed messages on a free SMS site. Its a free SMS site not a blog.

So I guess I will now have to go in and not have the msgs ping my web mail.

Were all those txt messages sent or do you have control over what's sent and what's not?

The thing was the spammed msgs werent sent out via a cell phone or to another cell phone. The cell #'s was left off. Just sitting there like blog msgs, waiting to be approved.
