Redesign my logo for Web 2.0 style

I recently registered a new company, VCTech Network and I need a redesign of the VCTech logo that I took from the original company which this new company is named after (already defunct since 2000). This is the original logo of VCTech Electronic:



This logo was designed in 1996 for a SMI company, so as you can see, this is not suitable for this new business which is focused on online internet services such as web services, web directories and SEO So if you are interested, impress me with your new design which retains some of the features in the original logo (but with a different colour scheme and is Web 2.0) and I will consider it for the new company. I can offer a price between $10 and $20 for the logo.

Nice job guys...so far the ones that have attracted me the most are the ones by grungemedia but its only one colour which puts me off a bit. More brighter colours would be more to my taste

Anyway keep the submissions coming so that I have more choices.

I have to admit that I really like this design even though it does not retain some of the features of the previous one. This one is going to be declared the winner, I think...but I want to see more designs

 

These are cool too....maybe I can use these not as the company logo, but as a website button for projects under the company. I will let you know
