I just would like to know that will the keyword rankings also see a change as soon as PR updates? I think we already saw the backlinks update? Now..... I aint talking about like does PR affect rankings. Just like say after 10 days PR updates completely, will we see changes in rankings also? Or it DEPENDS? Let me know please, I am hoping to rank better for a few keywords very soon, so maybe its soon?
I really hope so! My traffic dropped by 90% since the first signs of the PR update (last week of july). So i really hope this is a algo update and that everything will be back to normal pretty soon.
Keyword positions are updated all the time. Mine fluctuates between page 5 and page 3 for certain words.
MY traffic has been the same. For one of the main keywords, I am seeing a shift between 1st to 3rd position..... Its fluctuating every few days. For the 2nd main keyword, I am fluctuating between 10th and 11th position. And For the 3rd I am fluctuating between 12-13...
No.. PR exports and SERP are not related. SERP positions are ever changing, But you may notice a huge fluctuation if there is an algo. update
Your rankings will not change with an update to the Toolbar PageRank display. If you happen to see a change in your results soon after a PageRank update, its just a coincidence. Google's internal links and PageRank databases are updated continuously as they crawl the web. The search rankings fluctuate daily as these and other factors change. The PageRank display in the Google Toolbar is taken from a publically-available database that is only updated every three months or so. So its very common for a site to see their rankings change on or near the same day that their site's Toolbar PageRank information is updated.
