this is for ebay affiliates.Please help, something must be wrong

Hello ebay affiliates. i ´m working ebay and of course i´m a cj member.
I have two websites whre i work this business. they are http://www.ticketsplanet2000.com and recently i have also http://www.corvetteonsale.com

I read in this forum some post ( How many of you are eBay affiliates? -)about ebay affiliation and everybody tell that they´re winning some money, others tell that they´re winning good money, others that they started very recently and they already made sales and there is one member that even tells that he wins money and he doesen´t even advertise. So, my www.ticketsplanet2000.com is working since 4 months ago and i had 813 click on it and i didn´t make even one sale and didn´t earn a dime. That´s what cj cpanel tell me. So what i ask is if anyone can visit my websites and see anything wrong, maybe with the pid or anything, cause i really don´t know what´s going on. Ticketsplanet2000.com has about 80 visitors a day and for example if you search on google the expression ( sport tickets auctions) among others , it comes on the first screen. I´m sorry about this long post but it really must be some problem here and i can´t figure it out. The most weird thing is that all members tell that ebay is a good business. please help.

Helllo Luis, there is nothing wrong. But for example, let's talk about the site design, every visitor when land on a site one of the first thing he see is the beauty of the site. Compare your sites with this two: http://www.pricemagician.com and http://live.pricemagician.com . See what i mean? The design of your sites doesn't inspire "trust" to a visitor. Also you don't have a "privacy statement", a "Terms of Use", a "Aboutt Us", this are three important things to give credibility to a site.
If you tweak this things and improve the design and position of the content itself, you'll see better results.

But that it's only a part. Another important thing is the niche you choose. For a site success you need to carefully choose the right niche. Do you think that every month is a person buying a corvette via a affiliate site? Not a very good idea. But for instance if you make a site about face plates for a cell phone, that's very different, and there is every single day anyone who buy something.

I hope this can help you, and i hope you'll see money in the next months.

 

First things first... you don't win money. you earn money. It takes hard work to get your site to make commissions. BUT... you must have done something right to be on the first page of google for that keyword (even though overture says it only got 207 searhes in Jan 2007)

Maybe this is a dumb question/suggestion... but I know you have to apply for EACH ebay site as an affiliate, what I mean is that if you an affiliate for ebay.co.uk it doesnt mean you are an affiliate of ebay.com. check your invlaid clicks in your CJ reports.

in resopnse to jonixkonios post, he is right, site design has much to do with your success, but with 813 clicks you would think SOMEBODY would buy SOMETHING on ebay with the 7 day cookie! I get sales with products that have nothing to do with my site's niche all the time.

when I look at the link in the status bar when I hover over you link, the ebay affiliate link looks ok (with my limited knowledge ). check and make sure in your CJ account that you have a PID 2185725
