My whole marketing strategy is around free traffic, because not only is it good for long-term. but it's free! and it just requires a lot of work. but if I can combine adwords and free traffic, I make an amazing amount of profit. So my questions are: 1. Do you need a landing page for adwords, or can you just direct the clicker to straight to an affiliate page? are their any disadvantages of doing that? 2. Can you use any long tail keyword, or only the one's google chooses for you. 3. Can you control your spending? Are their any hidden costs that you ran into?
PPC is like sex in 3 main ways: 1) If it's your first time don't be scared to jump into it as it's the best way to learn. 2) Try all the positions and focus on what works best for you. 3) Just be sure and pull out before any damage is done or it could financially put a hurting on you. Honestly though with basic questions such as yours, you should do some reading http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=200367 You can advertise under any keyword you want, if it doesn't preform well you risk losing money and or Google bumping your minimum bid. You have full control over what you spend by the limits you set. Try different landing pages and content, just watch your ROI and it will tell you what to do.
i have just stared with adwords i loaded my account with a $1000 and am sending the traffic st8 to the affiliate page via my affil link i started off using just one affil but am using 2 now one pays $80 for a 1 page call back form being submited the other one pays $110 for the same last time i checked i had spent $150 in just under 48 hours but i have made $320 from them clicks. that was with no effot at all just pick a few keywords and used the google tools to spin them and get me more simmler ones. try it the way things are going i mite divert my effort in to ppc marketing my other sites get over 50.000 UV a month if i could convert that lick this is converting i would have my irland lol.
I can think of many ways that PPC isn't like sex too! 1) No one has to sleep in a wet patch 2) Breaking wind won't affect your ROI 3) Getting the job done fast is optimal
new here, my adwords campaign has gone crazy in the last few days so thought id put in some advice etc here Firstly not all affiliates or should i say the Merchants allow you to link direct to their sites, in fact the vast majority do not allow you to do so, beleive me i have looked through most! I currently have a campaign running, my CPC is averaging a mere 40p i am getting around 30-40 clicks per day and in the last 3 days made £500, costing me £8 and that was a google voucher anyhow! I owuld advise reaseaching researching researching, you can set your spend limit and CPC - Cost per click limits. Dont listen to googles "predictions" of the volume of clicks you will get they are very wrong everytime i seen it. Firstly you try you may fail then try again in the end you will find something that works just like me. Keep up the work...
wow thats good champ i am paying silly mmoney for my clicks lol but am still making but i think i will look long and hard at my keywords to try and make even more
Yes i have stumbled upon a great keyword with low CPC, im pretty lucky A mere 13 clicks today and 4 sales, i must be targeting the right traffic! Still as long as its a + and not a - all is good eh heh
A landing page that is relevant to the group of keywords you have chosen for your campaign is usually a great way to go instead of just sending people to a regular page. The google keyword tool is a great way of researching relevant keywords and even if some long tail searches show small search volumes dont be afraid to try them out and EXPERIMENT with them because usually you can get them for very cheap. I haven't yet encountered any hidden coasts with adwords just setup your budget and let it go. Keep a close eye on it and be sure to track everything you can because the more you know about where your visitors are going and leaving from the easier it is to fix the problem. Hope this helps!
Greetings, A friend of mine told me that of recent he has been experiancing some difficulties with google adword of recent stating that campaigns don't display at times? I would like to know if anyone has also noticed it and way forward.
Wait till your CPC goes above the roof. It is always good to build a very good Landing Page. Google allows you to ad affiliates, but don't like to none.... It works for a few days for some low competition products, but they catch up...
Is not clickbank i am looking in to clickbank now for an extra revenue stream. I doubt it will gain the sort of results i have been getting, just hope it keeps up, All i can say is look into al Merchants, one just may be the right one for you...
