How can i market my site further.

Okay over the past couple of days ive been promoting my site

Ive been posting pictures using the site in forums for sites that use image hosts alot.Like adult sites and pc game sites where you post screenshots.My traffic has shot up and this is reflected in my alexa.
3 days ago it was 8xx,xxx
now its 480,500
.
Can anyone suggest a way to promote and market my site further.

Make some page with a funny picture, and little description. Post on social networking sites like digg.com

 

you can try doing Link Exchange with other similar sites.

 

I suggest social bookmarking sites - this will help bring in extra instant traffic.

 

Try a Human Billboard ?

This might seem a bit extreme for you, too, but you could write some informative articles on using images. How to do it, How to take good photographs, the point of an avatar, that sort of thing.

Then you could include a link back to your site in your resource box.

Going from an Alexa ranking of 800,000 to 400,000 odd may seem good - and it is - but it gets tougher from here. It's where the rubber hits the road.

But I'm sure with a bit of dedication, you can do it.

Start a blog where you post the most viewed pics of the day.

Add a hotornot.com type feature where people can vote for pictures that others have uploaded.

Both of these ideas will grow your traffic - and more than that - make sure that people keep coming back.

What about starting a blog then using social bookmarking?
