How would like to know what is the opinion about links on irrelevant blogs BUT relevant blogposts ?

Becuase if that also hurts your status, then why are people being dupped into paying for the blog network services, where you provide on article which is posted on dozens of blogs?

If you have a general blog and you get a link on a specific blog post on "Gift Baskets", that does help. Now, does it help as much as a Gift Baskets Blog and getting a link on anyone of the posts, No...not as much.

So, ideally, the blog would be focused on your particular macro keywords. For instance, if you sold used 1968 Mustangs and you got a link on a blog that was about Mustangs, that would be a good link compared to blog about someone's day to day life and they happen to blog about a '68 Stang they saw.

    Because they are stupid.

Before someone takes offense at me for pointing fingers and calling names, let me just confess that, at one time, I was one of those stupid people. And for the low, low price of $20, I learned the valuable lesson that those 200 links from blogs containing the same content didn't amount to jack in the SERP's.

It is find to a point to me. But if the links are so far off. Like you have a SEO blog and cause of spammers have you as a great hit blog to spam to because of several reasons and none relating to the porn industry. Where they link you within their website et cetera, Quite annoying to say the least.

    TO SixSigma and SEO Ranter

    Hello,

You said that 200 blogs in the exact same content didnt make a difference. But that is slightly different than what i was asking, but it is still a good answer.

So lets say, you bought blogposts on 200 blog, BUT EACH BLOGPOST IS A DIFERENT HAND WRITTEN ARTICLE. My question is, all those blogs are irrelevant to your product/service.

So is it ok to have links from relevant blogposts but irrelevant blog?

    NEXT QUESTION"

When buying blogposts (let's pretend we are only posting on one blog), would buying 2 blogposts on a blog be better than buying one?

That is becuase we are trying to make the irrelevant blog more relevant by adding more relevant content.

So what are your thoughts about this?

Oh, that's a different matter. I think the consensus is that the more links from non-spammy sites, the better.

BTW, see the link to my latest blog post for a funny way to get a few hundred quick back links. Even though I can it a "scam" it really does produce links. :)
