Hey I use a wordpress partly as a content manager on www.famosomagazine.com and I am wanting to make a section such as www.famosomagazine.com/blogs for a few celeb blogs etc. I was wondering how I do this since I already have wordpress installed on my server. Thanks.
Ok thats what I thought just wanted to make sure. So I just create a Blog file/directory and upload it and install it into that folder. Do I need to install it again or no? I have a lot of stuff on my website/alot of content adn dont want to lose any of it.
your going to do a new install, this is separate from everything else you have so there is no need to worry. you should probably create a new database for it as well, or do you use fantastico? if you do just tell it where you want it.
Don't forget to use new mysql database. It's a truly new and separate installation. You don't want to mix the database.
