He proved that -- if Rand's methodology is taken ---than there are hundreds of directories better than SEOMOZ.
You will find the debate on his forum.

I myself have written a good review about SEOMoz as a company in my blog
    http://www.idk.in/blogs/?p=67

after following many other blogs and forums i came to my decision and you can read it there.

What you guys don't realize it that the more attention you give the subject the more popular Randy becomes. It doesn't matter if it's good or bad attention because ALL attention creates backlinks and more readers for his blog.

This is just an example of really good link bait. Even by me posting this is contributing to help brand his name and create public awareness for him. No I don't agree with his opinions but he does have a nack for grabbing attention, creating controversy and building his brand and backlinks.

    Just my 2cents.

Public awareness in a negative way can kill SEOmoz and his reputation though ;)

Very interesting read and statements you made ..

Well hes entitled to his opinion and i guess i am also.

Since i started my directories ive submitted to "other" directories and a few blog links along the way as
well as 1-2 submissions to all the social bookmarks for Biz-King and Sleek (My Pitbulls):D.
I can say that ive been doing well in the search engines rankings and have no intentions on stopping my
backlink building as i see directories one off the best sources for reaching top spots in all engines.

Do i plan on changing how i do my seo and back link campaigns cause someone says its flawed? lol absolutely not... :p

Ive been doing this for some time now and am smart enough to know how to get results and am not affected
nor worried about what someone else says...;)

    thx
    malcolm
