backlinks without spending money. How?

Dear digitalpoint forum members, do you think that it's possible to get a lot of backlinks without spending any money?
Can you share your ideas?
Does submitting site to directories give any great results?

 

Well, so far I haven't seen any backlinks from directories (paid or unpaid, including Yahoo Directory and BOTW). It may work great, but I personally haven't seen it yet.

Emailing related sites can help. Sometimes you can offer them a discount.

The best, ofcourse, is offering great content that people would naturally link to, but that is always a challenge.

Commenting on blogs, sig links, Press releases, link exchanges (questionable value), be active on related forums, etc.

 

NO they are useless,better buy hundreds of domain so you have hundreds of baklinks. look at my link below, i earn one backlinks from digitalpoint though

Yes, submitting to directories is a good one way links, social bookmarkings, forum sigs posts, and promotional ads.. These are some stuffs to get backlinks without spending money...

I disagree about directories, I have a few pretty good directory backlinks. Make sure when you're searching that the actual page your link will be on has high PR not only the homepage. Also, I've had a good bit of success writing articles. People looking for content may pick up your article providing you with a link, but you also have the from the actual article directory. Give it a shot.

 

Is it best to get a backlink to your site url orr to anchor text the keyword your going for?

 

Either back link is good, but keyword text can help SERPs.

You are not on the right track,I submit to a lot of paid directories and most of them are counted as backlinks....

 

If you need backl inks, submit your site to directories either paid or free.. If you need traffic and PR, submit your site to different Social bookmarking sites and also ping your blog immediately after uploading a new post in your blog or site. Hope this will help you

 

Well, if you won't spend money you gotta spend some time. Uou could check out some ideas here and also see types of link baits.

 

If you only need a lot of backlinks you can edit your signature with you own urls,and post every day here,you will just get lots backlinks.

Markas, start with your forum signature. Go in your User CP and add your website to your signature... that's one for you!
