I don't think there is such thing as an automatic directory submitter, only a semi-automatic. I had one before and uninstalled it, can't remember the name, ill tell you when I find it.

I've used Directory Submitter from Digixmas.com with some good results. It's semi-automatic and it gives you the ability to submit to 900+ Free directories (PR 0-8).

The interface takes a little getting used to (at least it did me) but all in all it's a good tool.

Thanks, I'm going to try that out.

Edit: What happens when you try to bypass captcha? Does it really work? I just get a "getting captcha" message. I'm not sure if it really worked.

What it should do is basically grab 10 sites or so in a row and sequentially get the captcha/ site info and present it to you on the one dialog box. You can't bypass Captcha as the sites in question won't take the submission if you do.

I had a really good software with already 2000 list of directories. You just have to press the next button and enter captcha code/submit, then again hit the next button(it will go to next direcotry), again enter captcha code/submit... it will go on. The form fields will be filled automatically when you enter next button ;) It costs around 50-100$ i guess(completely worth it). I have no idea where you can find it. But if you really want that application, hit me a PM and i will search for you and let you know where it is sold :)

Oh, and that bypass button is to bypass the particular directory completely during that run. Some sites' captcha graphic is distorted/unaligned (very few, and more than likely an issue on their server's end). In those cases, I used the bypass and went back and tried them again manually

As a directory owner I would just point out that many times those completely automated software packages incorrectly identify categories and submit your site to the wrong area. This is very frustrating as I spend a lot of time reviewing each and every submission and I figure that if I am offering a free service (on my free directories) the least I can ask of the submitter is to submit to the appropriate category, if not I do not spend time trying to correct it I just erase it as there are too many submissions to review. Just an FYI as you are submitting to directories.

    Good luck!

Yeah, I can understand. Although the one that I am currently using has manual category submission so I know my site are going in the right place.

Has anyone ever heard of this submitter?

I use fusionvisitors.com It really works pretty good I think you can submit to 1000 directories and its automatic-all pageranks-well semi automatic-it is designed to be a natural submitter I use it often I recommend it I think its 67.00 but you can use it on all websites as I do

As another directory owner, do not use an auto submitter. To many errors with cat selection- if there is no captcha. If there is a captcha, your not going to get into those directories.

Use an semi-auto where you can manually enter the captcha.

Also beware of the high directory numbers some auto submitters claim. I think you will find with some investagating that much of those numbers are for FFA's. Not the best to submit to.

As another directory owner, I want the submitter to visit and select the category of interest. That also give the sites already listed some exposure. I think category selection from the submit page doesn't work well with free directories.
