Hi, I would like to start a new site that will potentially in the future contain lots of racially offensive content. Can anyone please tell me about some hosting providers that allow this kind of content? Is racism even considered unacceptable or illegal?? I don't know. Thanks heaps...
No hosting provider will allow it as it's illegal in many parts of the world. Indeed, in my country (UK), promoting racial haterd is a big crime carrying a prison sentance and the host could conceivably be liable for your actions. But apart from all that, it's an ugly and unacceptable idea. The internet is here to bridge communities and bring people together regardless of where they come from in the world, or the colour of their skin, or the political regimes they are forced to live under. Can't you find something better to do with your time than pollute that?
That suck man. There are sites like stormfront and kkk. But I can't seem to find out who they use for hosting. NO !!! I am on a mission that you can never understand and I don't want to, so what can you do.
Well, report your post to the admins for a start! Nice quick edit to get rid of the explitives there too!
That rather goes against the paragraph above that, don't you think? Before anyone starts dinging me, let me assure you I don't agree with things like that as well. However, I respect their beliefs and their rights to discuss those beliefs amongst themselves. In any case, good luck to the OP finding a host who's willing to accomodate him/her.
Well, if that's your attitude, you ain't gonna get any help from here. Seriously though, It. Is. Illegal. Which bit of that don't you understand? And what sort of pathetic mission are you on?
Did you know that racists have lower IQs than non-racists? If you are into things like racism, DP probably isn't the place for you. Anyone who hosted you would not get my business. You are the scum of the earth. Take your low IQ and get out of these forums.
I agree with the IQ thing, I mean look how stupid was Malcolm X, Nelson Mandela, etc Being racist is very normal in my groups. P.s You also sound really smart and strong too, ooohhh
I am pretty sure this will be illegal everywhere, because from your website you can probably start movements and protests, in which can get you sent to prison.
It is not illegal in the United States, unless you are attempting to incite violence, terrorism, or general crime. This is a thin line though, and I'm not sure about what laws pertaining to what you're users post. ThePlanet will most likely support you. There is a thread in here somewhere about it, since they supported bombislam{dot}com. I personally don't support your decision, but the right to free speech is what makes American great and also makes it terrible.
It is of course always a matter of interpretation what one considers to be "Incitement to racial hatred". I've no problem with what people publish on their web sites, but would probably ban/move certain texts from my own forums, if they cause trouble (I run community forums where a significant portion of members are Blacks and Indians as well as Whites). Especially, if this gets off topic. So this is not a matter of opinion, but certain rules. How insane this Anti-racism can get has been shown about a year ago in Britain:
Err, the thing is if the government thinks you're up to something it's not like they're going to use public IP CHECKER domains, right? Best to steer clear from explicit content
Hmmm, worrying that people think that racism is illegal everywhere - guess people dont watch the news about ethnic cleansing being carried out by governments, somehow doubt these governments have set laws that racism is illegal. As to the OP's question, I will give them a little bit of the benefit of the doubt as if you were running an anti-racism website you may well have a lot of racist material on it as quoted examples etc. One option is to find an area that is sympathetic to your cause as hosts based in that area are likely to be as well (though this may not work if you are going for the anti version of them) Second option, find large websites that post similar material without apparent problem and trace who they use for hosting (normally easiest done by checking who is providing the nameservers)
