Hi, I was looking to make my blog a little bit professional. I was thinking of registering a domain name and hosting and WordPress script to make things work in starting. I have the content (I am a Article Writer Myself). I think it would bring in some nice revenue to me and as a Article Write I have to show my previous work and this site can be beneficial for me in both terms as i can show my work to my wanna be clients and also it can make me some revenue from adsense. My main question is In how much can i get a custom blog template. A very nice which looks very much professional. and shall i just go with WordPress for making my new blog or is there any custom script available for making things more nice. You can usually get one made specially for you for between $150 - $200. There's lots of good designers around here - some of whom make the 'skin' (usually .PSD), some of whom code it and some of whom do both. I can maybe point you in the right direction if you PM me.
People do make customised themes for wordpress. The price varies from designer to designer and depends on your requirements. Wordpress is one of the most widely used CMS's today- therefore you have a wide variety of plugins for blogs running on WP, your problems get resolved fast too.
Free professional templates are also available for wordpress just google and you will find a number of results... and yes wordpress is easy and yet powerful mode of blogging...
There are a lot of free themes that are very well made or you can check out Monster Template for some paid versions.

it is wordpress, and you can see who design the blog at the bottom "Blog design by Ben Bleikamp" at least on what I see
