Ok...no need to ask if you think video is and will be even hotter in marketingland.

What I am wondering about is where do you find the good clips you can use in your video. Things like houses, cars, people, business what ever clips that look profesional but are not top $

Something like istock ..they have video now but not as many as you may want

I think you can download video clips off of places like youtube and cut them how you want them, cant you? This might not be legal though?

    :)
I was thinking more of royalty free things. I am sure that if i use a youtube thing in my intro movie and my product gets popular it will haunt me till the days to come

Any idea if it's hard to combine video clips and giving them a different color (like color overlay in photoshop) ...in fi flash or any other videoediting program
I have some ideas about a pre sell video and have a clear vision of what i want and saw some video's i could use but i want it to be combined and have the same "ambiance" (donno if that is the correct word for it)

Once you get stock footage, what is the best way to market? Simply posing on Youtube?

Free stock photos and free stock footage means royalty free not actually free

YouTube's great if you want views and you have a video with something funny, but the YouTube crowd are not inclined (or encouraged) to visit your site. There are much better services for webmasters if you want high quality targeted traffic to your websites pre-educated through video.

LeadsByVideo for instance just released their preliminary stats showing Click-Thru Rates of up to 20% with the median average being 6.8%. You won't get that on YouTube.
