Hi everyone, Thanks again for your previous help :)

I'm considering using sponsored links with Google Adwords. I noticed some companies who are in the mortgage business such as I using this. Just wondering how more/less effective this is than my ads showing up on banners, ad bars, etc.

Also, Is there any point to doing Search Engine Optimization with my website if I'm not going to end up on at least the 1st or 2nd page of a related google search?

    thanks everyone...

All depends. It's more effective for some than it it is others. Nice margins in the mortgage industry so I'm sure it's on the competitive side of the fence. (ie expensive)

    Nope.

It certainly is in the UK - mortgages and unsecured loans are the most expensive campaigns that I manage...

I would imagine it's the same over on this side of the pond. Actually, I'd be shocked if it wasn't
