hi all. just wandering if any of u guys who use adwords, actually use the content network or the search network or both the reason i ask is im sure i seen somewhere that its cheaper to use the content network as u could end up paying like 1cent a click etc is this right? does the content network convert?
I'm managing a lot of different campaigns at the moment for different clients. Some are exclusively on the Search Network. Some are on the Search and Content Network. One is exclusively on the Content Network. It works for some things, and not for others. The conversion rate tends to be a bit lower, but the cost per clicks tends to be a bit lower, so you're no worse off. The only way to know whether it'll work is to try it...
I use the content network for some of my accounts. I always try i tout with a low budget on all my accounts and then decide if i want to continue. But I always create a different campaign or some time a new account! I think its worth to give it a try!
I only activate the content network for a couple of my campaigns. You need to test the content to see if there is any potential. Make sure when you separate search and content into two different ad groups before you test it.
new account? u create a new account in adwords with different id but still use your same adsense account or you create another one too?
i only use content network with those accounts that wish to simply drive more traffic. naturally these are accounts with larger budgets. content network will exhaust your advertising budget fairly quickly.
Half of my Campaigns are in the content network really gotta pick your market and what out what works well in it. As everyone has said content network gets lots of impressions but not a lot of clicks.
Is it a good idea to use the content network to build an email list? I just signed up with Aweber and I'm thinking about it... Jay
