    Hi,

Could you please add a feature to receive cheques by post, as paypal is not available in my country to recieve money.

This is the only factor that is stopping me from trying out your service.

    Thanks

Is it just my account or is everyone experiencing this when they checkout their reporting area although you still have their ads up

This thread of communication dried up pretty fast.

I'd still like some answers to my earlier questions please.

Same here. My best campaign is showing only impressions starting Aug. 7th. Clicks and revenue went to zero.

Although new campaigns added after Aug. 7/8 are showing some clicks.

I thought it was fixed in early August. Now, we are back to the same reporting/tracking problem that we experienced most of July.

You would think that a company as large as MediaWhiz would either:

    1) Realize that they can't run a question and answer session outside of their website
    2) Not abandon a question and answer session that they opened up

    ...not the case

It has been suggested that they post something on their own blog, but "management" seems to disagree that keeping it's publishers in the know is a bad thing.

It seems that this thread was only available for questions/comments on the 10th as that is the last time any "official" has posted.

I get crap for impressions, but was happy with the CTR up till the 4th of this month when the clicks stopped. As I was getting pretty much the same CTR via AdSense I have been pondering the switching back...especially since my AdSence CTR is down due to me replacing those ads with AA. All in all though, heh, I think I've lost 50 cents (lol)

I would like to say though, that I DO get crappy impressions for a few of my sites (less then 100 daily), but ALL of my Auction Ads have been spot on for my keywords (well, they are now that the keyword issue was seemingly resolved) so I am happy that AA does maintain it's cache for the little guy...so KUDOS for that! ;)

    Must be magick ;)

Try Occult as your keyword, as that seems to be pulling in on topic ads for my site & on the get code page...but lol, there is a sick level of humor when they can't even get their page correct.

When I see iPods on the home page I sometimes wonder what keywords they used.

I contacted them twice and got a satisfactory explanation twice. So... until further notice I keep on running AuctionAds on all of my sites. It is generating good money and is not stealing away any from other income sources.

    What is this "satisfactory explanation"?

I don't know about the fact it doesn't take away from other ad revenues. A click away is a click away, even if it is in a new window.

When I ran AA alongside Adsense, my adsense suffered and AA wouldn't make up the difference. When I replaced my Adsense with AA, Auctionads couldn't keep up the revenue.

It defies all conventional wisdom that one ad program doesn't affect other ad revenues on your site.

AuctionAds appears to be dead-in-the-water. No improvement and no communication. The ads show but it's anyones guess where the clicks and revenue are going.

Simple, I placed the ads in those places where adsense was actually not doing well. For some reason Auctionads filled up the void there and does perform excellently. And it does not take away any adsense traffic because of this since my adsense income did not go down at all.

However, I do not think it is wise to give up good performing adsense blocks for auctionads, in fact nobody says you should. I do think however that it is a very good extra on the side. In my case it make up to 50% of what adsense generates.

Since my site is having a good traffic (between 6000 and 10000 uv's a day) I generate quite some clicks and people also seem to win lots of bids, register at ebay or something else that causes an 'action'.

It also indicates that my visitors are people that actually spend money online, whereas some other sites perhaps only have kids, low income traffic or whatever that causes them not to buy goods.

Keep also in mind: use the keywords in an intelligent way, if you have a music site like I do, use cd,t-shirt or dvd behind every bandname and it will give you the correct adverts. You need to play a bit with it and learn via the channels what your public likes the most.

Tossing it away just because you have:
    - lousy traffic
    - wrong public
    - wrong keywords
    - wrong expectations
    is really dumb.

Just like adsense, you need to test test test test and test.

And before anyone thinks I'm pro-shoe or so, I am not, I read his blog, check out what he has to say and make up my own idea. Just like I do with DR from Problogger. They have valid points, so I check and see what I can make of it. I just look at the things from a rational point of view. And in this case, a company that has only existed for just a few months deserves all the credit it can get. And they pay as well, so I will not complain at all.

Oh and if you thought that it is possible making quick money with no traffic, forget it.

Its not a click away - you can set auctionads to open the ad in a new window.
