Unusual ways to get traffic to your site

Hey, I found my tip ( Tip#8) on that post

 

Paint your house bright pink and add flashing fairy lights. After a week or so (i.e. when media interest peaks or you get arrested!) paint the url on too!

 

I Found A Traffic System That I Never Saw Before, The Site Qualities Are Bad But The System Works Great, I Could Get About 300 Visit To My Site In One Single Hour. But Got The Traffic To My Stupid Site Ony; My Other Sites Are Onconstruction.

Anyway I Started A Free Hosting Company, Hoping To Get Alot Of Members And Traffic.

Set up a Bluetooth master with inquiry, but never respond to the page. Make the device name your domain. (Bluetooth version of sending WiFi SSID but not actually allowing connection)

Walk around the subway, stadium or somewhere packed, with the device in your bag/pocket/purse... All Bluetooth enabled devices will have pop-ups saying "device <yourdomain.com> wants to connect"...

 

ha-ha, that is quite good! now if only I had a BT device, moreover if our city had a subway!!

Have your girlfriend dance around in her lingerie, videotape it, upload it to youtube and have her flash your URL at the end of the video.

Though, you could have him write your URL on a sign, have him hide in the bushes, and then jump out when people get close yelling "POP UP AD"

 

Paint yourself all white and stand in a strategic place in a shopping mall without moving, with a sign on your neck showing your website address. (You could move a bit sometimes)

I know this sounds strange but it works.

PS. Please make sure you ask for permission from the mall first. Place fliers people can take away, by your side with a sign saying "Pick One".
