Is this enough to make progress?

I have a site that is a month old that gets between 0 and 1 hits daily.

All I did to get it indexed was put it in my signature and post 7 or 8 times on a similar niche forum. A month later its index rank has gone up. Will it keep going up or do i have to make more posts. How many posts a month if so will i have to make?

 

0-1 hits a day is not bad.
Keep it up and in just 12 months you can be getting 12 visits per day!

jake, you need to work on your site by adding more useful content for your site then try different link building such as directory submission, article directory submission, link exchange and etc. Forum signature is good as well but don't concentrate too much on it. You may be loosing precious time rather than posting to forums, try to improve your content and optimize it. Read as many seo articles, blog post, and forum post as you can.I'm pretty sure if you keep on working on your site it will increase your traffic to 100% and more.. Goodluck!

submit it to digg and reddit you'll get a bunch of traffic quickly

 

hmmm atleast it got some hits...but that is definitely not enough...improve your link popularity...try social bookmarkings if your into traffic...

 

Also you may add pages with unique content. just about 10 or 20 pages per month. and start a link building project..

 

you must find some backlinks for you site.

do not limit your self with forums.

link exchange , buying links etc
