So I'm sure that most of you are aware that I am undergoing physical therapy for my jaw. (If you're not aware, read this thread to catch up.. ) My physical therapist told me that full range of motion for the average person is 6 cm. That means when you open your mouth as wide as you can, from the bottom of your top lip to the top of your bottom lip, the average person should be able to open about 6 cm. Now I know that DPers are not average people! So I'm wondering how far the average DPer can open their mouth... So grab a ruler and go look in the mirror and post how big your mouth is!! And post pics if you dare... When I started with the therapy, I could open about 4.5 cm. Today I got up to 5.8! (Yay!)
Mine is 62mm.. I never thought i would be measuring how far my mouth opens and posting it on the internet...
Right now couldn't get the ruler put for testing I tried put my finger I was able to put my four finger one above another. I will get the ruler tomorrow and measure it how much it is and let you know Good luck with your project
Great, can't wait to hear the results! . You know, every now and then my jaw clicks out of place, like when I'm eating something really tough. It goes out and REALLY hearts when I try to move it, then I push my finger on my jaw bone and it goes back. It's really weird.
Yes I measured now with ruler but today i was not having a mirror but it's opening a around 6 1/2 or 7 cm Yeah
