A bot copied my content onto another blog and posted a link!

I'm new to the whole blogging thing so please forgive my ignorance.

I made a post on my new Wordpress blog about web hosting:
    http://www.pcfastlane.com/?p=7

Just 15 minutes after writing the post, someone made a comment on it. I chose not to approve it for posting. This is link was the only thing in the comment:
    http://testsubdomain.netmoviehost.com/i’m-glad-this-guy-isn’t-my-web-host/

It was a copy of my post, written by me! I do not want my name nor my posts on a spammy site like that.

Is this some sort of bot crawling my site? What can I do about it besides banning the IP of the poster?

I know some webmasters like to copy and plagarize, but I've never seen it happen like this. Why would someone program a bot to copy a blog post to what is clearly a spam website and then post about it on my blog?

    Hi there

I think the person is using your RSS Feed. There are plenty of scripts available which can pull content using RSS from ANY site...within a specific time interval.

My advice is -- Use Google Sitemap script for your wordpress blog. So once you write a content, it will automatically ping google telling it about your new content. This way there is a high chance for google to look at you as the original author of the article. So any other version of the same article floating around the internet will be considered as 'duplicate'.

But I think, its fine...because whoever is copying your content is actually deep linking to your post. So you won't be penalized for that in any way. Google already knows that the content belongs to you.

yes that is an auto generated content which uses a part of other blog's content.....some bloggers allow this if they get anything in return..like credit..to actual source or like that...google sitemap thing will be best..
