An extension has been added to Alive Directory. This message announces the launch of the Alive Blog Directory. It is linked from the main Alive Directory sitewide to benefit from the existing directory strength, and it will also be promoted separately. If anyone has a blog listed on Alive Directory, and you would prefer it listed in the Alive Blog Directory _instead_, let me know. I didn't want to move any without the owner asking because the new Alive Blog Directory has all PR0 pages, of course (for now), and the blog category of Alive Directory is PR4, some would want to be listed in both, etc. Of course, the categories for the Alive Blog Directory will have PR in about 3 months or so, and listings there have better categorization for blogs. Therefore blogs are listed alongside other blogs that are related. Of course, you can submit a new listing to the Alive Blog Directory if you prefer. The Alive Blog Directory has introductory pricing. After the intro period, it will have pricing similar to the main Alive Directory. IMPORTANT NOTE: This directory is for real blogs only; other sites will be rejected. Any other site should be submitted to the main Alive Directory. Any questions or comments, as always, just let me know.
Good to see that you have launched a blog directory! But from absolutely my point of view it was unnecessary to launch it in the same domain under a subfolder! The way you promote your site and do paid marketing it is many owners dream; So I would prefer you to do something really different! I dont exactly know what but something solid resourceful portal; Anyways its my view and best of luck with this one as usual
I've yet to pick up an alive dir listing. I just can justify spending so much just for a year. I'm in aviva and several other tho. (ps, I got in aviva b4 the yearly charge, otherwise I wouldn't be in it either) With that said, it's a great idea to extend the directory Wish you the best
agreed here ... i would rather do www.aliveblogs.com ... just like you have alivekeywords rather than adding a subdirectory.. Best of Luck with your project like always http://www.alivedirectory.com/Blog-Directory/directorydump-web-directory-link-3.html is this a blog ?? or is it just there for testing purposes ??
Good-luck Chris. I wish I had one real Blog instead of a blog on sub-domain Anyway - thats another great value Addition to Alive Directory Saga
It's in the General Directories category, which is what it is. There's also a Blog Directories, Article Directories, and a category for other Niche Directories...
I didn't want it as a new directory. I wanted it to be an extension of Alive Directory, which is why it was added the way it was. Doing it as a new domain doesn't seem different anyway.
This is great news. Another thing to say WOW about. I shall be submitting soon. When i start a new project i head straight to places like alive. Its not the price that counts - its the benefits strong directories bring to your SE rankings. I have to agree with smub. Why start a subdomain? Surely you could have it as an amazing seperate project aside from alive directory. At the end of the day its your choice and i respect your decision - you know a lot more than me and its your life Good luck as always, mike
Chris I am having a regular permanent at Alive can I convert it to Featured+5 permanent at Alive Blog Directory by paying the fee difference? - Thanks for letting me know in advance.
Yes, let me clarify... Sorry for the confusion. If you have a site that fits into one of the Blog Resources categories, it can go there and not be a blog, such as a blog directory, general directory, article directory, or other blog related resources. What I meant when I said only blogs is in all the other categories. I don't want non-blog submissions into them. I hope this explains a little better what I meant.
Best of luck to you Chris and btw i like this design much better than Alive's itself cos it uses a good color!!!
