Does anyone use Stumbleupon? Someone recommended that I do so to help increase traffic, so I downloaded the toolbar etc... erm... now what?? Does anyone have experience of how to use this tool to generate traffic? Thanks!
Now stumble your site: press thumb up and write review with relevant tags. Then go and get peoples do the same for you (there is 10000's stumble exchange threads in freebie section on this forum).... test and learn...
It will bring alot of traffic to your site yes, but only if you get alot of stumbles. Also why is this in the adsense catogery?
well i have been stumbling for about 5 months and i get only about 5 views from stumbleupon on which i m really sad.. my stumblepage is http://sussane.stumbleupon.com
Here is another comprehensive resource for you. http://www.doshdosh.com/a-comprehen...sive-traffic-to-your-website-and-monetize-it/
A few months ago I noticed a number of referrals from StumbleUpon in my logs that were second only to Google, so I registered with the site, got the toolbar, and added Stumble links to my pages to encourage visitors to do it. The number has tailed right off, though, and now it isn't a major source of visitors.
Go to the Problogger. He has just submitted an article all about Stumbleupon. The key is that many people 'flick' through websites. Your blog has to stand outfrom the crowd. He gives out some excellent tips
I find that TerenceChang's explanation of StumbleUpon is complete. She also mentions about how you can "safely" stumble.
I did a little experiment. I'm about to write the third article about the fact that it didn't do anything for my site, and I stumbled and got stumbled quite a lot.
Stumbleupon is the good source of traffic but it is just a short term traffic Google Traffic is real traffic ( for me )
I thought stumbling was such a great idea that i created my own stumble forum (link in my signature), mostly because this is a very hot trend going on right now. If you are interested in stumble exchanges and getting stumbled, visit our forum. I'm actually not sure if it brings in actual traffic though, I haven't been noticing it but maybe I haven't been stumbled enough. I hope this helps
