Still you self this qestion, will i use this searchengine if i have to search many times to find what im loocking fore?? I bellive the answerd to this is no.....for almost all.

So what can we do to make peopple find what they are realy looking for......and how can we rank the sites best for the users, this is the main qestion for the searchengines.

Here is the key im talking about, and the sites gets "wotes" for YES, find it, or NO, dident find it "back/X".

So i belive the PR is a very, very small counting factor, users is desiding what they want to rank first. If you playing by the roule with words will seachengines rank you hight, but from her is the users taking over and deside what and if they found that they are looking for.

Sorry again for my bad english, but i hope you understand:(

Well that's just super you want to share your opinions on Google page rank, but this thread is actually about the latest page rank update - not an existential hypothesis on the significance of PR. :)

Ok so how does Google know if you like it or not? How does Google know if you closed the window or not?

They Collect statistics from Adsense + Google toolbar.

    Adsense:

they collect every piece of information they could about the user behavior, (to prevent fraud of course but also for other purposes)

Maybe they log all hits and use the info for ranking?

I didn't know the insect pet market was that lucrative.

I'll have to swap my bug bombs for collection boxes. :D

At this time, I see a difference here at #8 on these two datacenters:
    http://209.85.135.18/search?q=link:http://www.google.com/webhp
    http://72.14.207.100/search?q=link:http://www.google.com/webhp
They used different snapshot dates or different data sets to produce the backlinks.
In this case, I see the smallwarsjournal.com was added to the first ten backlinks.

This seems to be a canonicalization update, the only pages seeing changes in PR are those that had problems - googlebot got off track. But everyone got backlinks, and different ones on different datacenters if they are big enough.

The universal backlink update seems to be necessary to release even the limited PR changes we see in testing a correction to the index.

In addition to different snapshot dates or times causing a difference in backlinks, some may show up due to the page the backlink is on having been corrected and re-added to the index - and the data set - with its proper address.

Yes it has crossed my mind.
I think that this is why some new sites that have oryginal content, do not drop after the FSB is over. Sites that keep visitors are high in SERPs despite the little or no BL and low/no PR.
I have experienced this first hand.
Sites that do not have a good cotent ( build just for adsense) stay o top only because MASSIVE and steady number of BL.

Yes, that's me standing by Alaska's Kenai River in July, 2006. I caught that 62-pound king (chinook) salmon in the river that morning. Now consider this for ROI (Return On Investment) — filleted out, about 30 pounds of king salmon, at $15/pound retail for fillets, makes that a $450 fish. (I did not sell it.)
