How much content for kontera?

I'm looking to sign up with kontera but heard that you must have a certain amount of content for kontera or they'll reject your application. Does anyone know how much content or pages you need?

 

I have two fitness websites www.6pack.co.za and www.getafirmbutt.com that have about 30 pages each and I got excepted by kontera

I don't think you need a lot of content pages.

 

they are more concerned with your amount of monthly page-views, but they've been lowering the bar and letting in more and more smaller publishers lately..
Give it a try - the worst they can do is say 'no' ..

I don't think it's about content pages, but more about how many pageviews the site gets as a whole with the kontera ads on.

A site could have thousands of pages and still not get any traffic.

 

How did it effect adsense revenue for you when you integrated kontera on the same pages?

 

I saw no detectable change in my Adsense CTR ..

Kontera works well- don't get me wrong- I love it.

I have noticed that since starting with Kontera, clicks get me about 1/4 the money that I receive from Google Adsense, although I receive a larger amount of Kontera clicks. Still, Adsense is bringing in about twice as much even though it receives much less clicks.

Did you send your email to your account manager or to support? my account manager always responds very quickly..

 

I don't think they have a minimum content issue. You pages must have a little content though and not just pictures and ads. I think they are more concerened with the age of the site, pageviews and if the site has Alexa ranking or not. I redid my site and applied when I only had 3 pages of content on it and they approved me.

Norrad is right, pages in our network have to have some textual content and not just pictures in them. However, Alexa ranking and pageviews are no criteria for disproval. If you have a website or a blog with respectable textual content in it you can join

Well, I applied and got rejected! Their email said:

My site has about 30 pages of content, and that's excluding the about, contact, links pages! It's a fairly new site with about 100 uniques per day so maybe it's that if norrad can get approved with 3 pages. Or else there's something wrong with their technology's ability to analyse .aspx pages.

Anyone know of other in-text advertising systems like Kontera?

hi Gazu, you can try Infolinks if you wish. They pay better and dont even forfeit your money if its less than 5$ in any month (Yup kontera forfeits ur earnings of the month if its less than 5$ and it wont carry forward).

 

You can check their requirements on their site and it will show you what your site needs to have to get accepted.
