PHPLD: Directory Categories

    Hello,

    I am in the process of developing my PHPLD directory. Is there any way to import the categories? I am making a general directory. If not does anyone have any suggestions regarding category creation?

    Hi BBOQ, you can either google search for an existing category dump or use my category generator for more of a unique structure and unique and random meta descriptions.

    Unique would be the preferred option, why, because it will set your Directory apart from others :)

    Highly recommended tool.

    Agreed. This is very important IMO in the process of creating a directory. I would even recommend to create unique category names (even a slight change would be great) or structures.

    For example, in some of my directories, I don't have a category for "blogs". I believe Google sorts sites based on themes rather than what format the websites are based on.

    Do manual addition. It is time consuming but gives best results...

    I added 6,000 categories manually to my category and now reaping the benefits. :)
