Earnings Dropped more than 50%

The only CPM i noticed was at google adsense reports that showed as "SITE" and and I am getting very less SITE money.....contexual is also lower as before, SITE has gone down from 5 to 0.50

And CPC in the sense on an average earning per click....like you get 100 clicks - $10...that means 10 cents per click average (talking only about contexual) Now...it is less than 10 cents on average I am getting these days.


Total ad impressions are the same as before but site targetted ads are shown way too less

 

My epc also dropped around 50% today. It happens every couple days or so where I get extremely low epc compared to most days. It will probably be back up tomorrow.

Me. A massive decrease in profits has hit me recently and I have no idea why. At the moment, I'm putting it down to the whole 'Smart Pricing' thing. I even wrote a quick post about AdSense smart pricing if anyone should be interested in checking it out.

 

I feel you man, i just recently scraped adsense, as i didn't make jack. Currently looking for alternatives.

 

site-targeted ads, as shown by: advanced reports> show data by> individual ad> check "Show data by targeting type - contextual or site"?

if you can't figure out how to look there, you'll never understand exactly where you are losing money.

PEOPLE, YOU MUST ANALYZE YOUR STATS IN ORDER TO EARN THE MAXIMUM POSSIBLE $$$ FROM ADSENSE

 

what do your channel stats tell you is low? traffic? epc? too many site-targeted ads?

 

friday one of my sites made $58 from 45 clicks, today the same site at 45 clicks had only made $30... it happens. just get more traffic! thats how I feel about it anyways....

 

In june I earned $200, in july $110. August is going to be around $110 too.

 

gaming niche here. dropped from $15 a day down to less than $5 over the past week.

 

its not like that. the same traffic got me $12 a day and now same traffic is getting me $3 a day? bullshit!

I am frustrated with google now!

 

that is exactly what I found was happening last month, but why?

my stats are similar to last year as far as site vs contexual but the problem is that the numbers were so high the time in between.

 

yeah, me too. I have more traffic but my earning is lower....

 

I was more worried when I saw the earnings had dropped to $8-$9 from $12 daily.

Now I think I have given up seeing $4-$5 lol

I think it might be some problem, it cannot be like only me. Many people have seen lower earnings, if we earn less, google also earn less..let google fix it lol.

I'd now just wait and see what happens till the end of august, HOPE it picks up again..

Well, the ads are not loading for me in FF, though its fine with IE7.

i noticed the firefox problem at many places.
i had a daily earning of a 20 $ from a few sites.
from the past week they are not even reaching upto 5$.
i think somethign is wrong as not only 1 but all sites are effected.

 

It seems google has forgotten that many publishers depend for money on them....
I cant just survive on text links and banners or other ads on my site..need google adsense to pick me 300 atleast

But it seems this time it will be a struggle for 200 if things goes like this

 

Google adsense has all these errors and changes letely,it can't be just coincidence,i think they really have issues.

 

I know, google adsense problem only, it cannot be like so many people facing low earnings and it seems only these niches like teens, entertainment etc only.....

But who will suffer the most in the end? We? Google is already so rich, we are the ones getting affected out of their crap!
