It is not exactly free, you work hard for it. It is called free as you do not have to spend a penny.

All you have to do is register at ddboard.com and post there and/or participate in incentives and collect ddpoints.; that is their currency. After you have the needed sum, redeem for your domain.

It does seem like a lot of work, but it's a cool promotional idea anyway. I bet lots of people will participate in this, and the value they'll add to the site will more than offset the cost of buying them a domain.

I would think it would take up to 1 month possibly for the .info and 2 - 3 months for any of the domains that are 2500 points are higher.

What I would worry about is posters who are spammers. And does the forum have great mods or super mods to keep vigilant during this time of active posting for a free domain.

I am referring to ddboard.com. I got my domains in less than 1 month. I cannot use paypal and other means from Mauritius, that's why i prefer this way of doing things.
