I've been writing web articles for a while now and I'm currently working with a pool of writers who want to extend our services across the web. SEO writing is the latest addition to our list of services and a friend of mine recommended that we get a certification. I checked out the SEO Certification Org website and it costs quite a bit. I just want to know if it would be a worthwhile investment. Do clients really check for this?
I haven't ran into a client who wants to see my certificate (I don't have any anyway.) What clients truly want are ranking samples of the site you optimized and your references. References are very important. If you help a company get top rankings and generate a lot of business, your clients can't stop saying good things about you. That is more powerful than any certificates you have.
i dont think seo certification is necesssary. if you are getting good traffic from search engines, it's your certification
