I was happily getting $11-$12 and now I am getting $5-$6 The 336X280 banner spot was giving me decent CPM, like $4-$5 a day and from yesterday it is giving .50 - $.75 Now....wtf is happening, the site targetted ads have run away... I feel crap, have I been smart priced or its the advertisers that have run away? Anyone else's earnings dropped badly? CPC is also soo less that I cant tell you, less than 10 cents per click I am getting now on an average.
Don't worry. You can't expect everyday to be similar. You will have some ups and downs, but things should even out at the end of month as far as cpc is concerned.
Oh my god! I also seen at other threads that many others have faced downs... I think maybe a few niches are facing low earnings.... Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooogle!!!
Forum is best with CPM only and thats why I added these rectangle ads.... it showed most site targetted ads, its most likely that advertisers havent bought yet and if this continues, I will earn $150 instead of $300
publishers don't have cpc, they have epc(earnings per click). 1) did the number of total impressions drop? 2) look at the adsense stats for the cpm ads being served on your site... are you getting more or less cpm than before?
The only CPM i noticed was at google adsense reports that showed as "SITE" and and I am getting very less SITE money.....contexual is also lower as before, SITE has gone down from 5 to 0.50 And CPC in the sense on an average earning per click....like you get 100 clicks - $10...that means 10 cents per click average (talking only about contexual) Now...it is less than 10 cents on average I am getting these days. Total ad impressions are the same as before but site targetted ads are shown way too less
I think we are related yes! I have a teen niche - Teen Help I think only these low paying niches like teens, entertainment, etc are facing lower earnings
cpc = cost per click epc = earnings per click google has cpc, publishers have epc... so you had a 10 cent epc rate. did you look at advanced reports> show data by> individual ad> check "Show data by targeting type - contextual or site" 1) on a daily average, are you getting more or less site-targeted ads? 2) on a daily average, are they paying higher or lower cpm? 3) are the contexual text ads still targeted at the page content? i have seen a lot of bad ad targeting lately, and it will lower your epc.
