    hi,
got a few sites i don't care if they get banned/etc, want to try out some link directory submission programs (like the ones you see people using on here, selling things like $10 for 300 directory submissions). Anyone used any? Any good ones?

    cheers

Because one takes a few seconds, one takes a few hours. I just want to try it out on a few sites. In your sig you say you do 1000 manual ones for $45? This isn't a dig at you or anything at all, but i've never belived them to be manual. If each one took 30 seconds (most take longer, i'd say), thats 500 mins, which is eight hours. For $45. It seems wayy too low. Maybe anyway.

They are submitted manually.I got many clients only bcoz I submit them manually.

Abt the price : In our country (India) we ca get cheap human resources. Then why can't we go for automatic submission.I find my bread from this forum and I don't want to eat anybodies blood and flesh by cheating them.

    Thankz

wasn't accusing you of cheating people or anything (like i said, it wasn't a "dig" at you personally or anything)

whats your rate of sites that get accepted?

I think theyre manual as well.
In India manual link submission can probably bring a fairly good lifestyle.

There is no difference between manual and auto submission besides the time factor, as long as you can control the categories.

Dont believe this hype about manual submission, i've owned dozens of directories and you cant tell. If its in the right category and a ok site it will be included simple as that.

But to what extent can it be automated? I bought SubmitEaze, and have tried a couple of other submission programs. You have to check the category, because in all directories they aren't the same and the program can't always select it. Sometimes you have to solve a captcha. Sometimes the program picks a directory that isn't relevant to my site. Making errant submissions just because I use an automated tool is just creating more work for the directory owners as well as giving me a bad reputation and potentially getting me banned from the directory.

I think you can only semi-automate and still do this job responsibly, and even semi-automated submission is a tedious time-wasting chore. I'm bored senseless after about 20 submissions. If someone in India is happy to earn a living doing this job they are welcome to do it as far as I am concerned.

priyakochin's service is smooth and professional.

I payed for 1000 submissions for each of my 6 sites. Approval rate seems good so far too.

Most of the directory owner block automatic submission.

Usually we used to take some list of directories and submit to them. This is done manually by out staffs.

Ok tell me how the directory owners block these submissions? The software connects on port 80, inputs the data to the form and submits it just like any normal browser request.

I've approved probably 80,000 submissions in my time owning directories and when approving i CAN NOT tell what ones were automated or not.

I'd like to know as well, but if he means Captcha then the auto submitter i use brings it up on the screen for you to enter.

priyakochin if you want me to prove what i'm saying, send me a directory list and i'll load up my auto submitter and we both submit a site and check the approval rate?

I guarantee there will be no difference, simply put if it's a good site and submitted to the correct category it will be approved.

No, i mean they won't approve it because of thigns like:
    Wrong category
Wrong type of site (like a myspace site on a travel and tourism directory)
    etc

I personally use TrafficSeeker which I think has a free trial version. It submits to SE's and directories both, and I think somewhere between 200k to 800k of them total.

I didn't buy my copy, as I found it at an office store while Dumpster Diving (yes, I am hard-core).

This won't happen, the auto submitters suggest a category and you have to hit next or ok to submit. If it suggests the wrong category, you simply select the correct one then hit ok.

I guarantee you, i'll submit a few sites manually and a few automatically and no directory owner can tell what sites were done automatically.

Manual submission is just a big waste of time and money for nothing.
