^ Just overwrite the files. I have a question myself. If you go to my proxy, http://www.hiddencloak.com you'll see a bunch of options. How do I hide these options? I noticed some proxies use a javascript code to hide them, and it just says "Click here for more options" instead. Can anyone teach me how to do that? Thanks. Edit: Also, how do I go about changing the header? It's still set to the default one when I downloaded the template.
I have some words to tell about proxy business Point I Scripts 1- CGI. uses much CPU & RAM and will b more into being suspended by your host and also it will make your awstats files be big and awstats page will need minutes to open if you have a busy proxy because it will list every page that your visitors viewed through your ptoxy Uses much less bandwidth than any other script though. (onlt few megabytes/day) 2- PHProxy. uses much more bandwidth but puts less load on CPU and RAM and more over you can disallow hotlinking and redirect hotlinks to your home page instead 3- Zelune. I didn't have the chance to try this script myself because i'm more into phproxy but one of the clients i host was using it and it used too much CPU and right after I recommended him to use phproxy, the load went down Not sure if it was an error with his integration or it's the script nature though Point II Stats Some people say AWstats doesn't work promptly with proxies because their adsense impressions are much less than the visitors number shown in AWstats The truth is Your proxy gets hotlinked, visitors go directly to proxified pages while your adsense is shown only on home page so you get much visitors and less adsense impressions/clicks those are 2 tips who will help getting more adsense impressions/clicks and also saving bandwidth as well
I was under the impression that it couldn't login to myspace after they made some updates. Edit: Yeah, I can't login to myspace through your proxy. You probably should have checked before marketing it as a myspace proxy. Try zelune or cgi.
tell me if this one works briskproxy.com, worked for me while my proxies runing Zelune let you log in but going to another page kicks you back out. Edit: I was testing out some of my proxies (phproxy & zelune) on Myspace & it seems my account has been disabled...lol "This profile is undergoing routine maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience!"
what are hosting option of proxy.. is it possible to start with vps or cheap dedicated. which share/vps hosting will allow proxy..
hi, i need help!!! Setup CGIProxy online, get the URL "***.info/cgi-bin/cgiproxy/nph-proxy.cgi", anyone tell me how to change it ***.info thx in advance.
You don't have to access /cgi-bin/cgiproxy/nph-proxy.cgi directlry to get the proxy working this script gets included in a design download a ready made design with the script included I don't recommend cgi script though
i think it must be "***.info/cgi-bin/cgiproxy/nph-proxy.nph not "***.info/cgi-bin/cgiproxy/nph-proxy.cgi anyways the only thing you should do is this go to that page save it (you know "Save page as _in firerfox_ or Save as in IE") then upload to the www directory By the way Ive just made this proxy forum it would have at least 1500 hits a day if I start the promotion also you could put your proxies in there for free whats your suggestion? please advise would it be a successful forum or not also PM me if you like to be a moderator in there
Hi,JacobNix Thanks for your advices,it works now!!! and thank you for your inviting,But im just newb in Proxy,i can't do this job. just registe in your forum, when i finish my proxy, ill put them in. Tech Entrance ,thank you also.
I'm going back into the proxy biz...gonna go with buying a quarter rack does anyone think they wanna share the cost and colo a server or get a dedicated one from me?
huh i think i may try embeded proxy its free na? any experiences? as my host provider is having many down times and this is making me mad
Does anyone have a good admin panel to run a proxy network? Is there a demand for that? I'm thinking of buying/coding a panel that you can add new sites/make an addon domain, set the title, keywords, ads, etc for each site in your network
He didn't say subdomain, he said add-on domain. I don't think there's much use for an admin script. The most sucessful proxy owners have put time into each one as a seperate site and built up their network over time. The people who buy 20 .info domains and then post a bunch of myspace bulletins are going about things in the wrong ways.
Just run Apache + PHP lol (you don't even need mysql so installation is super easy) SSH into the server and you can add as many domains as you want... this way you don't end up stuck with a free but sucky panel like ravencore or end up with a good panel but paying monthly fees with cpanel
